This small lane near the Prague Castle is famous for its miniature buildings which was built and housed
the artillery men under Rudolf II. Later the street was the home of craftsmen, artists and alchemists. For Franz Kafka fans, a
plaque on the wall of number 22 marks his temporary home of 1916. Today the little houses are painted in colourful pastels to
attract tourists and sell souvenirs and crafts. A couple of Cafes along the way provide refreshments.
