Prague offers a growing number of possibilities for vegetarians. Most Czech
restaurants only have a few dishes that can be eaten by vegetarians,
and it is the same dishes every where, so the selection is small. The is
situation is improving as a few places have begun to serve vegetarian dishes. We have collected some of the best at the list below.
Bona Vita Soya Dlouhá 610, Prague 1 |
Prague's original experiment in soy, Bona Vita continues to dish out its bizarre concoctions from the lean, mean protein bean in
its post-modern cafeteria on the edge of Old Town Square (to the left of Jan Hus). More frequently, however, the soy sits next to
vats of spaghetti and real-meat stir-fry. Bona Vita offer plenty of healthy choices: Bouncy soy burgers, soy chilli, and soy stir-fry
share the bill with more familiar (and tastier) cafeteria selections. |
