Café Milena Staromestské nám. 22, Prague 1 Daily, 10 am - 10 pm	Opened and driven by the society of Franz Kafkas friend. The café is named after a friend of Franz Kafka, translator Milena Jesenka. Milena was one of the lovers Franz Kafka never had the courage to propose to. You can read the daily papers, choose from a variety of light dishes as well as deserts. The prices on coffee and alcoholic beverages are fair considering the location.

If you furthermore are tired of Czech people, this is definitely the right place, as it is quite expensive to ordinary Czechs.	<

Jo´s Bar Malostranské nám. 7, Prague 1 Daily, 11 am - 02 pm	Do you know nobody in Prague, go to Jo´s. Have a game of chess, eat Mexican food. Between 6.30 -7.30 pm there is double up on both beer and spirits. The place is very popular among foreigners.

U Fleku Kremencova 11, Prague 1 tel: 249 151 18 Daily, 9 am - 11 pm	Probably the most famous bar in Prague. It is the biggest tavern in the city. The waiters will automatically give you a new beer, even though you still have one third left in the old one. Try the dark 13 degree beer and you will never drink anything else. The price is 40 Kc a mug. From time to time a 10 man large orchestra plays folk music. Worth one visit and that's it.

U Minuty Starometské námesti 3, Prague 1 tel: 249 151 18 Daily, 10 am - 11 pm	A relaxing teapot (50 different types), where smoking is banned. The place used to be one of Franz Kafkas favourites.
