In Prague on Business Residence Permits Work Permits Trade License Import/Export Conferences Foreign Investment

In recent years the Czech Parliament passed a law that instructed new firms to be able to master the Czech language. To obtain trade licences at least one person in the company must speak Czech perfectly and the person if not Czech, must prove his or her competency by passing an exam. Existing companies must pass the test within one year. If the test is failed it can result in the trade licence being revoked.

The law came into effect from the 1st of April 1996.
